Oh, Djibouti! You must have done your homework. If it is pure suitability: Age, education, experience, strategic locationing, vision, languages, non-controversy etc, your candidate scores A's. If hardcore lobbying reigns, you may lose it (depending on how you play your game). But if the game gets dirty, Raila has enough skeletons in the closet to keep everyone busy all afternoon. This is public knowledge, and even available online. AU, pleeeeeeease make these interviews/debates public. Also, arrange for a few interview questions from the African public. We need to know, and participate in selecting our leaders.
