With that, if you are smart enough, you should understand everything. Hamza Yusuf is not a puppet, he undertsands history, and he undertands geoploitics. And he undertsands what is true, arabs are not ready for a democracy. In fact, no one is prepared for democracy thats why it doesnt exist... (Theres no existent country with an actual democracy). Assad is a ruler, a great ruler. Very smart and, most importantly, he CARES aboit his people. Like Gaddafi. Both will prefer to die before selling the country to the West. What had in common both of them? They belived in a united Arab/African nation. Thats really really dangerous for western interests. Because if arabs were united they would be a very powerful and advanced empire. They will have their own currency and most importantly, an islamic economic system (debt with no interests) that would be very solid. His version may be correct but the context he said in is utterly ridiculous! That's why he is working with Trump Administration to find flourishing of Sufism. The problem is Hamza Yusuf is extreme Sufi pacifist! They don't talk about Jihad and standing up for yourself; utterly against Islamic teachings. They don't talk about Biddah and the innovations into the religion as they have been involved in lot of innovations themselves; something Jews have been cursed before Islam for doing it; Something Prophet(PBUH) said numerous hadith on. I don't be more blunt here but two sects in Islam find there way directly back to Jews i.e Shias and Sufis. They converted to Islam for political convince and brought back their previous beliefs into Islam. The only way to determine that is through is to have Quran and Authentic Sunnah as main medium and judge everything through it. If we don't find anything in Quran and Sunnah, its not from Islam; but if these people are practing things which are found in bible, torah, vedahas, Babylonian Talmud and the rituals and practices of Hindus, Christians and Jews; Obviously one must not be an idiot to know that these things are coming into these sects from these people. Jews have lived pacifists lives over ages for their survival; they have manipulated their religion for the sake of pleasing the tyrant leaders. They been cursed for it. The idea that your Rabbi will save you from punishment of grave still exist in Jews. 1000s of Jews go to Ukraine on the grave of Rabbi Reb Nachman of Bratslavl each year; as he promised jews that he will inter-seed on their behalf for their sexual sins. This kinds of short cuts do exist in some sects of Muslims are believing in things like this for ages. They will be popular! As Shiekh Kalbani said the same thing about punishment of the grave. Democracy would only work in a peaceful transition with the majority of people having a common goal AFTER the revolution not DURING. Look at Libya, it's easy to make a Boogeyman out of Gaddafi, but once he's dead and there's no one to blame the faults on, they fight and create factions and tear the whole country apart. He seems to be highlighting the stability that comes with government and the consequences that come with revolutions. In the full lecture he explains it and Hamza Yusuf also says that he is with the oppressed and not with the tyrant. He tells us that Allah is the One who changes our condition. I agree with every word that he says. I am Indian and I am appalled at the condition of Indian Muslims. From being righteous they have turned into hypocrites, cheaters, liars. All they want to do is exercise laziness, blame the government for their apathetic condition.
