​​@@noorjahan1333Jet engine is the hardest part to make, the rest of the jet was made in Turkiye. The only western parts are the ejection seat and engine but Turkiye has developed a jet engine for kizilelma drones and is developing a bigger jet engine for this plane that will be ready in just a few years. China's 5th gen jet used Russian engines but just a few years later they began making their own engines for it.

Huge for Turkey, the win here is that, unlike USA, they will sell it to anyone interested without any strings attached, they can sell to European countries at cheaper rate the then f35, they will sell it to middle east countries unlike America and also African countries and I'll go as far as to say they might sell it to Russia and China if they're interested! No limits. Which means that's a huge market for Turkey. Next up is 6th Gen and creating their own Engines, at least make a single engine KAAN that can travel at mach 1.8/2, which it will allow to hold more weapons in the bay.

F 35 has engineers and parts from 10 countries , including magnets from china ..It is important to get system integration capability . the Individual parts can be replaced slowly. even with turkish drones the foreign parts are being replaced with local ones .

By making their own engine in the next 5 years, so from what they've said, the first batch it will use American or British developed engines, then the second batch will have its own in-house developed engine so they no longer depend on America, hopefully it will be minimum mach 1.8 or 2

Turkish UAVs used foreing engine from france and foreing optics from canada for a while. Howeve now most of them are flying with Turkish engines and optics. The same goes for tank and armored vehicle production. Turkey has started to serially produce 500 and 1000hp motors for light and medium armored vehicles, 1500hp engine for main battle tank altay is under tests which will be serial production soon possibly next year.

The jet engine and ejection seat are the only western made parts. Every other part including the radar s Turkish made. Turkiye made a jet engine for kizilelma jet drone and is now developing a bigger engine for kaan which will be ready in a few years.
