I always get goosebumps when I hear this song! It is one of my favourite songs form Insomnium. In the first part of the song I feel a mixture of sadness and chaoticness. But when the song slows down I get a feeling of release, that pases over to hope when the song picks up again. If you want to hear more from Insomnium, I recommend "Down with the sun" It's a little more hardcore though

I totally get similar vibes. There's something very deep and emotional in this song, and the last part feels uplifting! Such a powerful song ❤ Insomnium is one of my favourite bands. If you want to react to other songs by them I'd suggest, as some already did, _Down With The Sun_ and _One For Sorrow_ . If you're inclined to react to songs without videos, or just if you want to listen to it, then one of their best songs is _In The Groves Of Death_ . The lyrics are very powerful.

Recently subscribed and love how you react to songs, not acted and you go in depth. My recommendation: Solstafir, almost any song, but Miðaftann has a nice melancholic feel. Or the songs otta or lágnætti. Even though you don't understand the lyrics, the way the vocalist (Aðalbjörn Trygvasson) delivers them just hits the right note for me.

One of first videos Insomnium had was for The Elder, which is a great song, so you might want to check that out. It's a bit old though, so quality is a bit shaky. Another song I would recommend is One For Sorrow: a few years old and has a similar feel to it - or maybe I just think it does as they both hit way too close to home. Others have also mentioned a couple of bands, my vote goes to Swallow the Sun and Dark Tranquillity. They both have way too many amazing songs, so picking one is not an easy task. So I won't.
