"You knew all along that the cancer would spread, so don't be surprised to find a price on your head" - if you don't know, the lyrics were written by the band's lead guitarist and songwriter Tom Searle when he was nearing the end of his battle with skin cancer. Most of the songs on their last album address it, as he knew by that point that he was going to die. It's really sad that someone so young and talented was taken like that

these are one of those bands that don't write bad songs, no misses. Lost Forever // Lost Together is their 6th record, but it's the one where I think they figured out their talent's true potential, so I'd recommend checking that out. everything previous to that is wild also as well as All Our Gods.

I second "These Colors Don't Run" because it's their best. So good. BUT i would also recommend "Memento Mori - Tom Searle Tribute." It gives some contrast for the heaviness and breakdowns, and it definitely adds some depth for the bands music in general. For me at least. Great song writing and the lyrics are so well written they sometimes bring a tear in my eye.
