Truck 50 *Ride Along* (Screaming Q!)

Truck 50 responding to assist Station 63 (Lafayette) on a reported building fire. The cause was determined to be a burnt up A/C unit, and the Truck crew cleared within a few minutes of arriving. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 9/11/2020

That's right. White noise gets lost in the "universe". I think some people like the siren a little too much. Like the trucks that are SCREAMING through empty streets and country roads. Wtf?

Excellent ride along. Hearing the Q always takes me back to the days I worked on an ambulance. If was by far the best tool to unclog a clogged path. Sometimes used both horn & Q as you sometimes do if I remember some past videos. You guys stay safe! 🚒🇺🇸

Red Baron we got tons of those here! Power company doesn’t seem to care neither! Went to a drunk driving accident where the idiot took off the bottom 15-20 feet of the pole. The top just hung in mid air. They didn’t fix it for WEEKS! I laughed every time I drove by it.

It's not a wail siren it a federal Q2B and yes it is controlled by a foot pedal on the officers/passengers seat side.

It’s a roto-ray and has been used for decades specifically for ladder trucks that can’t have much lighting on the front due to the ladder over hang.

@Leo Yang as Englishman I agree they do look really nice compared to boring smaller Volvo fire engines but they are tailored for our really narrow streets you would get a us fire truck round the majority of UK roads.
