Let's go truck camping high in the snowy mountains of Alaska in the middle of the summer! Something bad happens, then I'll take you whitewater kayaking down the Lilttle Susitna River in Hatcher Pass... and finally we go to Matt's ( @alaskacabinadventures) property to help him build his new cabin!

Hi from Malaysia, Tim! Your vanlife adventures are the best so far that I have watched on KZbin. I graduated from a Nova Scotian university 32 years ago, and your life in Alaska/Yukon reminisced about my experiences living in cold weather in Wolfville, NS. Keep making good videos, Tim! I love your wooden house on the road, too! ❤

Depends on the dough but I like to cook the dough for a few minutes before I put the toppings on. Less sog and more crispy. But some doughs don’t necessarily need that extra step. Your pizza looks great especially in those surroundings.

Definitely thumbs up on your camping. I do recommend using another stick to balance (or hold) when splitting the wood. This would totally eliminate using your hand to hold the wood and accidentally slicing your finger(s) when splitting wood for your stove. Try it, it’s safer!

a way to step up your pizza game is to buy chunk mozz and shred it yourself. prepackaged has a coating of potato starch and powdered cellulose. This keeps the strands from clumping together in the bag, but it also keeps them from melting together nicely during cooking. another personal preference is to not completely cook the sausage and let the oven finish it off.

A pizza suggestion: Maybe try a pizza stone in your oven. It's good to cook on for a lot of things- (i.e. cookies) if you like a crisper crust or cookie. You can preheat or build it right on the "stone" and it works really great! I got one from Pampered Chef and a few of their other stones. They might be good for your rig because you don't have to wash them all the time. you just wipe it off and the oils over time develop a nonstick surface, and work great! You don't have to get it from there, but you can see the examples they have to guide you elsewhere too.

Hi Tim! Pizza tip: try putting sun dried tomato shreds on tip of sauce . Then layer mozz/meat/ blend if romano/asiago/parm/provolone. Sprinkle all with Italian seasoning. All products can be found at Wally World. I use an air-fryer during the Vegas 115+ summers. Living vicariously with your amazing Alaskan streams/forests and snowy mountains. Try the Eastern Sierra Nevada sometime. Lone Pine to Mammoth. Eastern Sierras are still the way John Muir found them in places.

What a fun video! I hope your computer is ok, and the burn heals well. Your pizza looks amazing, if you can find it a jar of “everything bagel” spice blend brings some fun to the cooking game and is actually very outstanding on popcorn/pizza and steak. Only other thing that I see that could help ya out on the domestic front would be breakfast tray/cookie (baking sheet w a lip). They can be dead useful, and work as extra counter space/table top if needed or as a crumb/drip catching cutting board or taking multiple things outside to a grill/fire pit. Again thanks for the fun video. Be safe!

YUM! 🍕🍕🍕🍕 I'd drizzle some olive oil on before the tomato sauce. And I'd pout without veggies. LOL. Awesome video! 🌊👍😎🇨🇦💦🌊

A good pizza stone is a game changer, thoroughly preheated in a smokin' hot oven before sliding the dough on there from parchment. I love that you still make an effort to legit cook despite limited space/appliances!

I'd suggest some cornmeal on top of the oil on the aluminum foil. Also, you have those nice folding cupholders on the wall, maybe put some right there where you edit your videos.

Moose's tooth pizza is one of my best memories from Anchorage, Ak. I think we ate there twice on our trip. What an awesome pizza spot. I also had my first reindeer sausage "hot dog" in Talkeetna, Ak. That was as close as we got to Denali. Still an awesome view of it even from there. And fun tidbit, it was colder in ky than it was in Anchorage in January. 27 there and 19 at home. I was shocked. I would go back, dead of winter, in a heartbeat. Also something we learned. We were not allowed to rent a vehicle in Anchorage and drive that rental to fairbanks. They said, if we wanted to visit fairbanks, we needed to fly into there and rent a car there and drive it down to Anchorage because Anchorage rentals don't come with block warmers. Good times for sure! I love watching your videos

Hey Timmy, best advice you’ll ever get BACATRACIN for burns!! I burnt my hand and was needing skin graft. Bacatracin saved my hand. No scars, no sign of it ever being burned. It is the best stuff antibiotic ointment!! Keep it with you for all scrapes and burns.
