I’d love to get out to Arizona for some camping. We got some good mountain camping here in Georgia to get out of the summer heat but there’s too many people. It’s nearly impossible to find some solitude. Love the video!

Nice! We’re heading to north of Flagstaff, over by the base of Humphreys Peak. We were up by Happy Jack next to West Clear Creek a few weeks ago and got dumped on most of the trip. Still better than being in a he Valley. Thanks for sharing!

@@DavesCampingAdventures Yea, but with what little rain we do get here it’s kinda nice sometimes to just sit in a lawn chair in the middle of a clearing and just get poured on. Found myself doing that and it was glorious right up until the lightning started.

I suggest buying a 5/8" copper rod 24" long. And a heavy set of jumper cables. Pound the copper rod 18" into the ground leaving 6" above the ground. Find a bolt in the frame of your truck and connect a battery clamp on that bolt and clamp the copper rod with the other end of the battery cable clamp. You have just added to grounding your truck to send electrical lightning strikes to the ground instead of your truck's electrical system... I didn't know that could save my RV trailer electrical equipment. Lightning struck a electrical transformer and my trailer was NOT properly grounded....Damage $7783... A/C UNIT; REFRIG; MICOWAVE; GAUGES, TV, etc... SWITCHES Your homes have grounding rods pounded into the ground from the circuit breaker box...
