TRUCK DEPARTURES KELSALL STEAM RALLY 2018 ERF, FODEN etc

This is crushing me right now. I got my Class 1 this year and recently have discovered how awesome the ERF EC11 and EC14s look and sound. I've only shunted a 4/4 DAF CF in my works yard so my handling of a manual truck is limited but after driving a 12 speed auto DAF XF, I've started to get a grasp on gear ratios and would pay good money to haul a 3/3 ERF right now. Had the honour of being overtaken by an EC11 on the M6 the other day while heading back to Shropshire and my jaw was just hanging open in awe. Partly because I feel proud to be driving trucks that size now. Beats driving a 3.5 tonne van any day.

Yep,can't beat a cummins mate,if you like that sound,they are an engine manufacturer so there units are in a majority of different brands. But daf uses paccar now. Old volvo had cummins,the old dafs too.

The blue sedon Atkinson think 401 pretty cool don't see many the blue erf b series blower just identical to my dad's he drove it had a seadyke body on it still remember the reg GTL 35t cool trucks this truck is why I love erfs totally undreakable hope to see the truck close up at a show some time soon have proper look
