Good to see a Total Stockcrate in action. I was part of the team that built that one

@@michaelfranssen411 broo the sliding sheep gates 👌👌 what a dream, way better than other crates i’ve used, love having the fold up blinds built onto the ramp too, makes it heavy ish but quick and easy, churrr

How come you don’t put the top gate pin in , only takes one to put its legs up , and possibly slide down between the gate and crate ,just saying I’ve been there . Good video
@Truckersteve146 ай бұрын
Just the way i work things really, never had a problem with bent doors or anything in the 3 years ive been trucking, i will with bigger cattle and bulls ect but 90% of jobs i do they are 500kg heifers ect and have floors dropped ontop straight away, i’ve had alot more trouble with the state of peoples ramps thats for sure, one day it might catch me out but so far so good mate touch wood 😬🤙 cheers
@graemechristall57245 ай бұрын
Yeah I had that happen to me years ago in a old type Fairfax crate but the steer flipped over backwards and had front leg slide down between door and wall. Took some time to get gate open to let steer out. That was a he'll of a lesson learnt especially when I had a ferry to catch as well
@Truckersteve145 ай бұрын
@@graemechristall5724im lucky really, in this crate its impossible to get their leg in there even without the pin in so like i said never had any trouble, could see it happening in one of our other trucks for sure though 😬

Yeah, i’ve hit the deck more than a few times, not ideal 🤣🤣
@theoprice7215 ай бұрын
Compared to full lifting decks and rear loading ramp that system looks totally shit. Currently working on a farm outside tuakau and having to mess around whinching the ramp up when you use to the ramp coming down electricity with the press of a button in like being in the Stone Age
@Truckersteve145 ай бұрын
Yeah i don’t think it will ever change, not enough money around to have a total change up of every farm and stock truck in the country, we just do the mahi and get it done 🤌
