Yeah, that little truck probably didn't have a reverse gear. It sounds silly but if they're built with motorcycle transmissions, those do not have reverse.

your Chinese trucks here in the Philippines, even the very first gen ones like Foton, Howo, Sinotruck, etc., are treated like royalty and last forever... but over there with you guys, it’s like, 'Just keep using it as long as it still moves or starts, who cares!'. 🙄
