Heating the steel can facilitate the bending for alignment corrections, but the internal properties of the steel such as resistance can be diminished or changed... be aware of this when using the High strength low alloys materials.

Zastanawiam się nad sensem takich napraw. Dlaczego? Bo jeśli raz została przekroczona granica odkształceń sprężystych i została naruszona strefa odkształceń plastycznych to taka stal już nigdy nie będzie miała założonej konstrukcyjnie wytrzymałości. Innymi słowy: to nadal będzie złom, chociaż ładnie wyprostowany złom z laserową dokładnością. Ładnie wygląda ale nie wiadomo co się stanie pod obciążeniem. To znaczy wiadomo - śmierć na kołach... Wcześniej czy później. Tak zdeformowana rama powinna być bezwarunkowo wymieniona na nową i ATESTOWANĄ przez producenta. A jeśli się nie opłaca to też wiadomo: na złom, również bezwarunkowo. To nie są żarty: to pojazd rozpędzony na drodze do prędkości 90 km/h o masie wielu dziesiątek ton. Czyżby Francuzi nie zdawali sobie z tego sprawy?

To samo dotyczy połączeń spawanych, które też wprowadzają swoje naprężenia do struktury chassis. I bez badań są w stanie wiarygodnie określić parametry wytrzymałościowe swoich konstrukcji - w dobie komputerów - nawet PRZED zbudowaniem prototypu. Pomimo tego prowadzą wyrywkową kontrolę zmęczeniową, crash testy i szereg innych badań zmierzających nawet nie do utrzymania jakości a wręcz do jej poprawy. Naprawa odkształconej struktury Waszą metodą polega na wprowadzaniu NIEPRZEWIDYWALNYCH obciążeń zmierzających do korekty zniekształceń chassis powstałych albo na skutek kolizji drogowej, albo na skutek zmian zmęczeniowych, albo na skutek przeciążeń, choćby z powodu przeładowania pojazdu. Świadomie wprowadzane naprężenia są tak nieprzewidywalne, tak jak nieprzewidywalne są zniekształcenia chassis - w praktyce każde jest inne. Ponadto elementy zniekształcone są JUŻ OSŁABIONE nadmiernymi obciążeniami - skoro uległy odkształceniu plastycznemu. To oczywiste. Wspomniane przeze mnie zagadnienia są przedmiotem i badań i nauki na uczelniach politechnicznych i nie ma w tej problematyce nadzwyczajnych tajemnic. Dobry inżynier zna je na wylot. Pozwolę sobie zauważyć, że takie firmy jak Smitz i Krone obecnie budują chassis skręcane na śruby a część elementów nitowane. Po to aby w zdeformowanym chassis możliwa była prosta wymiana uszkodzonych elementów i przywrócenie właściwej geometrii PO USUNIĘCIU tych odkształconych - głównie podłużnic. Obie firmy w znacznym stopniu zunifikowały zarówno podłużnice jak i poprzecznice w swoich wyrobach. (Niestety nie są one wzajemnie kompatybilne.) Nie krytykuję w czambuł Waszej technologii. Może ona znaleźć zastosowanie w BARDZO NIEWIELKICH korektach geometrii chassis, takich, że ogólna wytrzymałość elementów nie została naruszona. Natomiast tak zdemolowana naczepa jak w powyższym filmie, już z samego faktu jej uszkodzeń nadaje się tylko na złom. I to powinno zostać bardzo wyraźnie powiedziane aby ludzie bez wyobraźni i bez technicznej wiedzy, za to z wężem w kieszeni, nie traktowali Waszej technologii jako panaceum NA KAŻDE uszkodzenie, bo tak nie jest. Domyślam się, że zdemolowane chassis zostało użyte dlatego by nawet ślepy zauważył, że pogięte było a po naprawie nie jest. Natomiast milczenie w kwestii wytrzymałości i ograniczeń Waszej metody (które bez wątpienia istnieją) nie jest czystą, elegancką grą moim zdaniem. Dlatego zareagowałem postem.
