Question: when using the editor it references the sectors. How do you add sectors if you want to add roads into an area that has no sectors defined. For example, going north from the Montana expansion into say Alberta or east into North Dakota?

The game will automatically create new sectors wherever you put stuff in

Has this changed with the recent update? I tried laying a road but nothing happens. I tried placing an object too but nothing happens. I can edit existing objects and roads but new stuff seems to not work.

Any idea why the ruler tool for me is inaccurate? In the editor it said a road i placed was only 2km long , but actually driving on it ingame it was 38km?

the game is on a 1:20 ish scale so a 1 km stretch of road would be about 20 km of in game distance

That would require modelling in Blender. That's a skill of it's own and not quite so easy unfortunately.

You'll need to delete the node by using the command "g_delete_uid" followed by the UID of the node. You can find that one in the node properties (hotkey "N").
