It's cool to see the owner, the rigs, and the repair expert all in one video :) 73 NE5U Mike

My brother has had one of those Valiants since he has an Amateur extra Class and needed a solid power performer to work Dx. Very solid transmiters but about the only tubes that had to be changed out were the high power transmitting tubes but other than that no problems. Don't think he will ever sell it. Those look like pretty nice projects and I am sure the owner will be happy with your work. Thanks for letting us come along for the ride.

I can't even remember where my Valiant went??? Nor my Ocean Hopper, Space Spanner, and a lot of other goodies. But, I have had fun building up other boatanchors.

I'll be looking forward to a Valiant repair video. I have my Dad's old Valiant that has been sitting in a corner for a long time. I'd worked on it a long time ago to replace electrolytics & a weird fuse blowing episode but it now needs that TLC if I decide to put it to use.
