You and me both; the Twin Cities has a little bit of everything to see! I want to get my drone up in this area, but cell towers nearby can really mess with the controls. Thanks for watching!

I always thought it was kind of interesting how trains and powerlines go together, like those ones in the background. I see more than a few trackside along my shifts here in NY for the Adirondack RR as well. Lots of unique pole structures and designs.

Nicely done. Thanks for posting. I lived in the Twin Cities for 12 years. I miss living there and especially the railfanning.

We have an RS18 and an RS18U on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. 4 (1 is a parts source) FPA4’s, ALCO C420, ALCO C424 and we are currently leasing 3 HZRX Geeps. ALCO’s are hard to beat!

These old units are a treat to see in action! They have so much character to them, and the smoke is pretty neat too. Thank you for the comment!

Great video, it's nice to watch something where the camera was mounted on a tripod and the photographer understands that zoom is to be used sparingly. Well done!

Seems to be common with this railroad, the Minnesota Commercial, unit #83 was former CP #1830-9, just like their Caterpillar recovered MLW M636CAT, #71 was former CP #4711.

In once scene I noticed what looked like an eagle at the non-cab end of the loco. Made me wonder if the locomotive once belonged to Missouri Pacific.

You should cover TCW operations more! Has some great locations to shoot at, more in rural settings than just downtown.

Thanks for the comment! Trains always have the right of way to trucks and cars, so it would have been the truck that stuck the train for failure to yield.
