Truck Walk-Around: Temple's Pierce 75' Aerial

The Temple Fire & Rescue has placed their new Truck 3 into service! This aerial serves alongside a commercial cab Pierce Rescue truck out of their station on the south side of Temple. The department has also purchased a 100' rear mount aerial platform from Pierce Mfg which should join the fleet in several months. Here are some details on Truck 3:
• Pierce Velocity 70" cab, 10" raised roof
• 26" front bumper with custom hose trays (see details below)
• Four-man cab
• 500 gallons of water
• 1500 GPM pump
• Husky 3 foam system with 30 gallon foam cell
• Custom compartmentation
• Dual EMS cabinets
• Dual rear ladder compartments
This truck features a custom built 26" front bumper with two crosslays. The Q siren detaches from a pull-up latch and swings outward, giving the crew access to the bumper lines. The department maximized their ladder storage with dual rear compartments through the body of the truck. HiViz LED Lighting mounts are situated on the front brow and both sides of the body for lighting up scenes. Temple FD did a great job speccing out their first Pierce aerial!

I haven't seen this truck on scene but have seen it a few times running down the road. Nice looking rig! Good job at Pierce matching the TFD paint and graphics.
