Trucker Dashcam #35 Must pass truck 3.0 + nice drivers!!

Hello and thank you for reading this text.
The videos I upload are not extreme situations, I know that.
They are all from a limited time, and from the heavy Volvo truck I drive.
Please keep that in mind.
I do all this work on my spare time, this video took 5-6 hours of editing...and still it dosent look better than this :)
The camera I use now is a Blackvue DR750S, and an older 650GW pointed to my mirrors.

A few Words about the clips:
1. This is NOT a crazy russian too much vodka compilation.
2. It's mainly daily situations from a truck's point of view
3. I try to avoid calling pepole idiots and stuff like that. I prefer just the show the different situations and let you be the judge.
4. Dont take it to serious, if you find it interesting thats great, if you can have a laugh thats even better.
5. We all can make misstakes

ohhh i didnt know truckers flashed their lights to indicate you've passed them enough, I occasionally drive a cart behind my car and i've seen truckers do it to me but never knew what it meant.

It's pretty universal. In the US we tend to flash the hazards rather than rock the turn signals, and some truckers prefer to flick lights off rather than flash brights, but they have the same meanings.

I prefer to dim the lights 😇 as a high flash is a sign that ALL isn’t clear 😲. A high flash would indicate that a close encounter of the ‘insurance kind’ was way too close. 😢 A ‘thank you’ is hazard lamp flash of 2~3 blinks. 😉

Hikaru Katayamma: Quite true, though I suspect the fact that it (flashing your high beams) can earn you a ticket depending on the state and whether a cop sees you. Apparently it's considered an act of road rage, owing to the fact it can temporarily blind the other driver.

I currently drive an old car (69 Mercury) so the brights aren't as easy to reach as they are on a new car. Usually I just flash my hazards now, or blink the lights off & back on. I hadn't heard that it was a road rage thing now. Then again, I haven't driven professionally for some time now.

Just wanted to say thanks for showing that there are 'entitled' drivers everywhere. When I'm on the road and a big rig is passing me, during the day I flash my lights. And when it's fully dark, I turn the headlights off (leaving my markers on). I have found that at night, when I get flashed, I'm blinded (all the mirrors and windows let that extra light in, which my eyes don't appreciate). Was taught that my my dad and it was re-enforced by my mom, both of whom were professional drivers (Dad was a OTR driver and Mom drove school bus, both for over 40 years.)

I do this when out driving. Even if I'm not driving trucks. I have a lot of friends, that do , or have done it. So I know a bit of do's and don'ts around big trucks. Not many people driving a 1,5 ton car know what it takes to stop, and accelerate a 50 ton truck. They think you can stop in 5m.

Hi! Yeah, I was going to include one in the last episode. But managed to download from the "wrong mirror cam". I...haha, blocked a pedestrian crossing with the trailer. Pepole had to wait for the green light 30m ahead of me...and it was raining :D To my defence I must say that the red light was round a corner, and I could not se that the traffic had stopped. But yeah, I intend to include all, even my own mistakes.

It's a verry dangerous part when you come out of the tunnel to e6 Oslo. Have had an accident there with a Polish driver. He did not understand what's going one there and just turned around in the road works

Fel en bil förare gör och tips: kör om en lastbil och saktar ner utan anledning, kör om för att sedan köra in precis framför för att ta en avfart, inte följa blixtlåsprincipen, inte förstå att en lastbil behöver plats framför allt i rondeller (blivit omkörd på insidan flera gånger), inte förstå att en lastbils broms avstånd är mycket längre än en personbils (o för i helvete få inte en tankbil till att tvärnita så om ett rödljus blir gult o snart rött och det är en lastbil bakom som inte kan bromsa ner på den sträckan kör bara), Träng er inte före i en kö. det är bara jobbigt och kan göra så att kön tar längre tid. till exempel därför en lastbil kan blockera en hel fil när det är köer. går bara fortare då för alla i kön (utom dem som då tänker köra om 50+ bilar för att göra så att dem 50+ personerna får sitta en längre tid i kön. :P

To be fair it's more dangerous to stay behind one. You get more and more impatient over time and the lack of visibility of the road ahead massively contributed to it.

qazxswfr British roads are different ( single lane A-Roads) you can't see shit no matter how far you stay back as it's like being in a tunnel (trees on each sides, winding roads) not to mention doing 40-50 in a 60 zone which pisses you off as most people go faster than 60. Motorways are obviously not a problem but what I referred to only Applies to roads that are not motorway/autobahn/highways.
