Yeah I think that big smoke cloud your seeing is from a Walmart warehouse, because @JustTruckin got a video and drone footage of the whole thing up in flames and you could see some small flames coming through the roof. Oh and he was parked at a McDonalds not far from the burning warehouse, because he was just on a lunch break getting some lunch well trying to find a load and yeah.

That Walmart DC is an e commerce DC. There usually aren’t that many drivers there like the regular dcs. There’s another Walmart dc directly next door to that one too, and they’re back up and running now. So glad no one was injured.

It's a glitch with the ac system when u Bobtail from being with a loaded trailer. The fast acceleration is what caused it.

That was a Walmart eCommerce DC. They process and distribute online orders. It's not a regular General Merchandise DC or a Grocery DC which are the more common DCs in Wally's system. It was a total loss. At least 100 trailers were destroyed in the doors, but it appears all the tractors were able to get away. Inbound loads will be rerouted to another Walmart DotCom DC and not back to the shipper. I'm not familiar with their operations in Indiana because I ran out of Shelby NC and didn't get that far north. But they have DotCom DCs in Carrolton GA and Davenport FL that I've been to. Knowing Walmart, they have probably already leased a new warehouse and are moving in all the conveyors and other hardware needed for that type operation. Back to the truckstop, why would anyone park a bobtail in a full trailer space. We all know how difficult and frustrating it is to pull into a Peelot or Loves, find what looks like a space only to find a bobtail parked in it. This is a chance to be considerate and park in the bobtail or RV area. Thank you in advance.

I run containers from indianapolis to chicago every day. That walnmart DC is one of our customers. I saw that fire from over 100 air miles away that day on my way back down from chicago. Also that light off 70 eb onto 267 is horrible there in plainfield.
