You had to be 21 to get a class D chauffeurs licence (which was pre CDL) in the 70s. That's when I got mine. I'm retired now and have no money issues. (for you guys with the comments) If I didn't chain smoke for 43 years and ended up with COPD (my fault) I'd still be driving too. Some of us loved the life as much as the money.

Some people love to drive. He probably has bank, a paid off home, put 2 to 4 kids threw college, and loves the life.
