😎 Colonel Sergei, Awesome experiences in the darndest places you get to travel 😉 Ya them hills go (on forever) out in the wide open spaces of Montana 🤭 The "NICE FANCY" uniform was probably a [ Conservation Officer ] I'll bet it is fun driving a load like that with that " HEAVY KENNY "🚍 Is there something that IF you are Canadian and out of country 6 months your insurance goes into limbo???😣 Love that road as it winds through the foothills 👍 Those shots at the rest area 👌👌👍👍👍 Did you wear your 😱🤪 "NINJA MASK" in the rest area ?????😨 BEST TRAVEL VIDEO IN A LONG TIME .. AWESOME 😎😏😍😍😍😍😍 KEEP THEM BIG WHEELS ROLLING BE SAFE 🙏

I always find with a Fuller trans that pulling a heavy hill 1200 rpm is a bit low. Quicker downshifts around 1400 keeps everything running smoother.

Hilarious story about the guy sleeping in the truck. The part about the train whistle and air horn's was great.I think there is a term for this type of behavior, it's called "stoner's coma" referring to the over indulgence of particular substances. Hi Serguei, travelling alone is the best. I got locked out of a truck one time, central locking decided to go it alone, the boss had to come with a key, long delay, not good, after that I always had a spare key concealed outside the cab. Anyhow hope that guy is ok. Its Monday morning 07:50hrs its 2c. Sunday was blue sky and sunshine here in Ireland. My brother bailed out of New York city and returned home to Kentucky. Crazy times now. Beautiful scenery. Stay safe Serguei and keep on shipping.

At 45 tonne (99,00 lb) with 480 hp I used to downshift with just the stick but upshift using the splitter. The trucks here are geared for a 90 km/h (56 mph) limit. The hills here tend to be steeper but nowhere near as long and much lower elevation.

Your X15...at max torque from 1100 rpm (400hp) to 1700 rpm (605hp). 7th over is direct. 8th is overdrive in both positions. At 126,000# gross I only ran at max in direct. Overdrive only when empty and bobtail.
@robertquast96844 жыл бұрын
Gonna need more gears and lower gear ratios. 2 speed rear axles or a auxiliary transmission would help but also add weight. With that much weight I would be afraid of burning the engine up working it hard with a tuner. Most tuners just trick the computer to add more fuel
@tractorfixrable4 жыл бұрын
Great scenery, you should move out west.

Serguei, I have a suggestion. If you find that the majority of the time you are driving you have the OVERSIZE LOAD warning on your bumper, what about having permanent decals placed on your bumpers (that say OVERSIZE LOAD) and then cover them up when it is not? (unless there is a law saying you can't do that). My thoughts are, less hassle, maybe less drag as well, & better viability (no banner to shift, bunch up, bungee cords to break, etc.).
@williammacdonald2614 жыл бұрын
Your right some out of country insurance providers did tell their customers to return to Canada. A tuner may mean higher EGT, and more heat for the cooling system to deal with. Does your tractor have the biggest cooling package? Likely safer to re-gear.
@sczorroc15524 жыл бұрын
There are way too many govt. restrictions on truck nowadays with def add ons. You need to open it up with a tune and get your axle ratios correct. You can gain a lot of horsepower and torque but be careful because of your clutch not being able to handle it. Keep up the fight Serguei.

Stay away from tuners! If truck companies thought tuners were a good idea, it would be an option when you buy your truck! This is just my opinion, but what I would do is, keep driving that truck for now and make a list of what you want in your next truck. I think you have enough experience now doing heavy loads that you should know what you want in next truck. Be safe and take care!

There is a huge government bio-tech lab in Wuhan, the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The lab has been working on a vaccine for SARS. One of the theories is that COVID-19 is an engineered virus being used to develop the vaccine. A study by researchers at the University of Texas at Austin also found the novel coronavirus and SARS share the same functional host-cell receptor, called angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2). They warn, "The deadly new coronavirus is up to 20 times more likely to bind to human cell receptors and cause infection than severe acute respiratory syndrome." The Chinese have recently filed for a patent on a SARS vaccine that has the same type of engineered cell binding sequence. So, the question is - did the virus escape from the bio-tech lab, and if so - how? Through a test animal later sold in a market?
@gumbootcloggers83304 жыл бұрын
Maybe some workers cooked up the test animals.

More likely the sick bat just took a shit in his cage. Then got sprayed off with a water hose scattering it everywhere. They found this virus in the anus of a bat three years ago according to this report. www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2020/02/20/807742861/new-research-bats-harbor-hundreds-of-coronaviruses-and-spillovers-arent-rare Locals use the cave for cool summer time picnics as a break away from the intense heat and I'd bet more than a couple of them have antibodies to this one already. I remember reading that the chinese filed a patent on remdisivir which is made by Gilead over here. Couldn't make any sense of that at the time since its already invented/patented by Gilead and didn't save the link unfortunately. It's not a vaccine but it is an experimental medicine reportedly undergoing double blind testing for COVID-19 in china as we speak. It's a zinc ionophore, binding to the ACE2 receptor and filling the RNA replication area of the cell with zinc which stops the virus from replicating when it tries docking to another ACE2 site. Same action as chloroquines and Quercertin, but possibly more efficient at doing that. When used under compassionate care cases as a last ditch, last hope measure, remdisivir regularly shuts the virus down and the near death patient recovers rapidly.

There are 1 ISX 15L with two different Programming for engine control. One is for efficiency it has up to 605hp but only 1850 on the ft lbs torque. The second is ment for productivity 605hp 2050 lbs ft of torque. Take you truck into a Cummins shop ask them to check the engine programming tell them you need it to pull heavy loads. They can flash a new program on it to make it give that 2050 lbs ft of torque+.

@@semifast2 I owned a ISX 600hp back in the early 2000s. I ended up at a Cummins shop for some reason when the tech was getting done he asked me If I was having trouble climbing the Mountains. I told him I was with mount eagle. The next load I pick up out of Atlanta was 80000 lbs even with my Freightliner Columbia. I only down shifted to 8 gear and climbed mount eagle doing 45 mph with 12000 on the steer 34000 on the drives and 34000 on the trailer tandem. The program switch how the engine pulled to such a extent that drivers with Big Cat engines actually chased me down to the next Truck stop paid for me to scale it and then had me pop my hood. Because they knew I was Lying that I had to have a big Cat engine with work done on it.

Colonel..Let me tell you a story' Once upon a time there was this fat happy bat...just doin his thing in nature. Then some guy decides to make a buck and traps the bat to sell to another guy who ships the bat to a live meat market where they have many kinds of animals in small cages next to each other. Well this bat is now spitting mad....and he spits on some other animal...who he would never be near in nature. Now in this spit is a virus that had no real bad effect on the bat due to the herd over time developing in there systems the ability to cancel or overcome the effects of the virus. Now this animal that got spit on ...he is not feeling well...his system has not figured out how to deal with this...but no real worry because some guy is hungry. Now this guy is really hungry and thinks this exotic animal holds some health benefit ......you know marketing or sales pitch.... he eats him but maybe he pets him a little first who knows. Now this virus is just along for the ride but hits the gold mine when it finds in this guys lungs a very desirable cell to bond to.......well thats it stay tuned for part 2.....happy trucking
