Thanks for this information. In my hometown Dordrecht over the years, several heavy haulers organizised worldwide services. Companys like Van Twist / Big Lift and Team, Richards and Wallington, more from recent years Van der Wees and Mammoet Heavy Services Worldwide. Nice to keep up these historical photograpy. Never did Heavy but the way they got those loads around the country was something to see. I can only think of ALE Transport left today hauling the really heavy. As always thank you.

@@truckinghistorymydiecastco5274 be honest without Heanor haulage in England there is no heavy haulage. Peter was and still is a pioneer of the heavy haulage industry. To be fair you do do his fleet justice but he is underestimated in his contribution to this game.

@@truckinghistorymydiecastco5274 I know that you’ve done a whole Heanor video but I just thought you should have included them in this one. I knew George and Dennis very well, Dennis worked for me right up until his he passed. He made a front bumper for my T cab and many other projects. His cousin Grahame still does bits for me even now and they both worked at Heanor haulage. I hope Oeyer teases this because I’ve got nothing but admiration for him.👍
