17:18 The roadside assistance is loading you with 250 litres for 2500 coins. The gas station is loading you with 448.6 litres for 2692 coins, with cost per litre being 6 coins with 150% mark-up.
@TemporalWolf6 ай бұрын
You can also do gas deliveries from the port to lower the price of gas at a gas station. Decent pay and discounted fuel? win/win.
@Petq0116 ай бұрын
@@TemporalWolf Yep, that's completely true. What's even better is if you delivered materials to the refinery to create that fuel even cheaper in the first place.
@Petq0116 ай бұрын
And yes, as TemporalWolf said, you can also take the easy route and deliver fuel from the port to gas stations to remove the 150% markup. The alternative is to get crates from the port or the overseas shipping office, bring them to the refinery(then back to where you took them from to double the profit), then get pure Oil from the Oil plant, deliver it to the refinery, and the refinery will start making fuel which you can then distribute. So it's like the one from the port, but with extra steps, costing you more time to make, but making you more money, and also "saving" you more money by extension. Though yeah, the refinery is on the other side of the world, and is about 1 hour away from the port... one way... with a max upgraded truck, able to do 60-100 km/h when fully loaded with the heaviest crate. SO it IS a timesink, but it is around 33000 coins per crate one way, for now, for me. Though the prices to recalculate after each shipment. So yeah, I make around 66000 coins per 2 hours, excluding the repair and refueling costs, and you can make the same amount of coins doing other smaller jobs around the main island for the same time, but the shipping crates, you're also just able to leave it on autopilot and go do chores IRL or watch something on youtube or so on, and know you don't need to check and take care of it every 5 or so minutes. Okay, with the current broken AI on intersections, you still want to occasionally check it, as AI drivers tend to lock up some intersections occasionally, but I haven't encountered it as much specifically on the routes from the port to the refinery and back, but it still happens, sadly. Though it does happen way more on other roads around the main island for whatever reason, when it used to not happen before. So I think they kinda messed up the pathfinder in the newest patches, but we'll see.

8:04 Yes, the prices change because they are based on what you can carry. When you went on foot, even though you couldn't carry the Pallete, it still calculated the price as if you were going to carry it on your back. If you go with a car or trailer that can carry less Pelletes the price will be higher than it is currently. It is the lowest price at the moment because you are loading it on the biggest trailer, and can carry much more Pelletes at the same time.

@Petq0116 ай бұрын
@@chan-chanuwu2785 There should be 2 options for hitch attachments in the Tuning Shop, right under the option to turn it into a taxi.
@Petq0116 ай бұрын
@@TheChosenVaultDwellersVault Indeed. The calculations look at the amount of "load" you can carry. Let's use Milk for example. You can't carry milk in any way other than with the small tank trailer, one of the trucks, or the big tank trailer. But if you go to a farm and check it only with your character, the game will calculate it as if it will be pouring a little of milk in your hands, or a bucket or whatever (won't actually do it, it just calculates it that way.) and depending on that, and how many imaginary buckets of it you can carry, it calculates a price based on how many rounds you need to do with your characters to hit a "median?" price for the item. And you will be able to carry about 10 littres or so at most and still be comfortable with it. Same way if you go with the biggest trailer and can load, what was it these days with the new trailer? About 50 or 60 littres of milk? The game will look at it and say: "Hmm... if you can transport that much milk, you can afford to do some more trips, and that other poor player will need to make more trips to be able to compete with you for the pay, so you'll get paid for the milk cheaper per unit." Same thing happens for every item in the game you can transport. The game is just balanced in a "weird" way that kind of makes sense in its own way to try and keep it fair to all players, but at the same time it fails to recognize how exploitative it's being. Let's say you bare with it and bring enough milk to the cheese factory and fill it up. The cheese factory will now start to produce cheese boxes fro the Pizza Shops, Burger Joints and other places on the map. Wherever possible, prioritize the Pizza Shops and Burger Joints, as they use the cheese as part of their recepy to turn into their special item which is timed delivery and pays a lot more. Let's go with cheese now. A box of cheese costs usually around 300... Not the exact price in game. When you go to interact with the loading spot for the factory by foot, it will tell you a box of cheese will give you abound 600 to 900 depending on the destination, per box. And if you back in to load the biggest trailer, which, with the new ones, I think can carry up to 120 boxes I think it was, loaded automatically by the game, it will calculate the price and tell you. "Meh, a box of cheese will pay you around 120-150." So this is where the exploit comes in. Do it only on single player though, cuz it's kind of glitchy in multiplayer and causes a lot of desinc and may crash the server if you do it in multiplayer. Exploit 1: You prepare your handy... "Zip Ties?" the item that's used to lock cars and items in place on open trailers to make sure they don't move when transported. You park a trailer of your choice about two steps away from the cheese factory's loading dock. You go on foot up to the factory, and say, "I want to carry a box of chees on foot." The factory won't see the truck and space and will go: "Oh, okay then, you'll be carrying it by foot. Here's a 900 coins worth box of chees, but don't tell anybody, okay?" and you go, "haha, yeah, no problem." turn around toss it in the truck, and go again. The factory doesn't notice and keeps doing that, so you can load up as much as you want. Yes, the maximum of a trailer isn't a MAXIMUM it's a suggestion. You can load way more boxes inside if you balance them properly. It's better to do in open trailers since you can tie everything in and prevent it from moving all over the place. If you do it with a closed truck or trailer, you can't lock the added boxes and they'll keep flailing around inside the trailer. But you are able to transport around 300 or so boxes of cheese, while still having all of them worth 900 a peace, instead of 150 a peace, if you load them by hand, instead of automatically. But by the time you load them by hand, you would have finished probably around 1 or 2 trips with automatically loaded trailers which will be cheaper by themselves, but if you account for time, it's slightly better overall. And then come the Pizza Shop or the Burger Joint. Fill it up with cheese boxes and meat boxes... meat boxes work the same way as cheese boxes, and let them make their specialty. You can now deliver around not actually sure as I haven't done it in a while, but I think it's around 100 or so special burgers, or special pizza, each of them being timed, and with the base price of around 800-900 even if you're late. And if you manage to deliver them in time, which isn't that hard, you can get up to 3000 per burger or pizza. Now do that in bulk until the shops are out of materials, and if you're still feeling poor, restock the shops with more cheese and meat. Additionally, probably the bast way in the game to make money is either transporting military crates, from the military base to the 1 of the 6 destinations. Leave it in the said factory for about 30 second to get filled, and then bring back the box to the military base. It gives you about 50000 coins per trip. It pays half one way, and the other half the other way. Same way for the harbot crates and the Oversea shipping crates. You deliver the contents of the crates for the (listed price) of let's say 5000 coins. And are then told to return the crate "If you want." And if you return the crate, you get another (listed price) 5000 coins. So when you're loading containers at the harbour, or at the oversea shipping office, look at the price of containers, and look at it doubled. Because that's the actual price you get for delivering it both ways.
