Personally, while it is a tragedy, I think what most people are riled about is the fact that it was a public place, on a known holiday (Patriots Day in Boston) and while there was thankfully only three deaths, there were numerous serious injuries, which made it seem worse than it was. Adding to it was the mass confusion that followed. So yeah, while it was bad, you're right in saying that it wasn't too bad at all, which is thankfully a good thing. It could have been a lot worse.

Probably seems like the only sensible option to me because that's how things have been here for as long as I've been alive. Possibly also because most people here drive with a manual transmission, and it can take us a little longer to get going

In all of the United States it goes green->yellow->red->green rinse and repeat. The difference is green go, Yellow slow down prepare to stop, red stop, then green go again. We don't have a prep light for our next green. Just different styles I suppose.

These mechanics remind me of some of the things I hated about driving in Just Cause 2. The siren doesn't doesn't actually get cars out of your way. If you actually follow the traffic lights then it takes forever to get anywhere. Whenever you crash into someone, even if they flip, they just keep going like nothing happened. YOU COULD ATLEAST TRY TO SUE ME!
