Niesha K I've been driving for 4 years now and I love to off-set park, it's helpful, and I like the 90 /45 degree & straight back parking as well. We all off set park without thinking, it becomes second nature. The "Serpentine" backing is something else. LOL. But overall we do all of the maneuvers when backing. Your go-to "snake move" is essentially a variation of the off-set principle.... but it's true, once you've backed up numerous times, you basically free flow and use a combination of all maneuvers (within one backing) to get it in the hole 🙂.... great to see you back!

Never once have I had interest in truck driving. Somehow though when one of your vids showed up in my recommendations, I decided to check your video out. You are quite learned (which is always an attraction for me observing anyone in her line of work) in what you do and post some very routine a day in my life kind of videos, that are somehow attention holding. Offset backing was the easiest for me. The Alley dock sucked though and tooked up most of the points on my driving test. Wouldnt mind having some snow downhere in GA.

And offset maneuver is just an correction maneuver let's say you pulled up and you you just misjudged your spot and that's when the offset comes into place for you to know how to correct your mistake that's all that offset is you never have to do it unless you made a mistake in your approach
