Thanks for taking us along on your travels. I kept an assortment of fittings including the unions to splice Air line together. Those were the nut and Ferrell type. You can get assortment of Ferrels, then reuse your nut and fitting., When the push lock type came out in the late eighties I started Using those. So much easier. I would never doubt you for using a push type splice. Buy you an assortment. Cheap Insurance. Tom

I would think that the birds would crap all over the truck. I parked next to a water tower and boy did I get covered. Vulture poop is really acidic so you must wash it right away. Safe travels and Havagudun

A buddy of mine picked up a brand new grain hopper a month or so ago. Thing that got me is its got hydraulic landing gear!! All he has to do is play with a lever and the landing gears go up and down..🤔🤔🤔

Kurt, I drove a 2021 W9 for a few years. Loooved that truck, but I had the same problem with the drivers side door seal. In the winter I had to stuff an old pillow down there so I would freeze my hip. I can’t believe you pay that kind of money for a truck and they can’t properly seal the doors

Buddy you need to adjust your striker on your door just take a pair of vice grips turn it to the right a little and peck on it so it goes toward the inside of the cab then tighten the striker back up repeat if nessicere

You could make an Amazon wish list with rubber bands and duct tape. Only you can decide when you no longer want a truck that's as much a project and prized possession, as a business tool. I'd shine it up and find someone with money burning a hole in their pocket who wants a classic truck before there are none left. Maybe a new truck now will get you to retirement. Don't forget they come with new seats, new tires, and lower fuel costs. Sharpen your pencil and see if after you add it all up, a new truck pays for itself in 5 or 10 years compared to nursing this one along.

A new truck comes with over priced truck payments, way higher insurance payments. WAY MORE breakdowns. As for the fuel, I won't go for plastic until they garentee me 10 mpg. My 600hp still gets 6.2 and I'm good with that.

I have those same issues with my truck doors. Sometimes I will take my coat and lay it over my left leg! My passenger door rattles. I will take paper towels and roll it up like a Tootsie roll and place it around the door latch and slam door shut. That usually stops the rattle! I will deal with these issues. I'm not buying a new truck. Nope not ever no more.
