The late great Bobby Flores and his Yellow Rose Band, and with that Emmons Pedal Steel blasting away in the background, absolutely first class!!! I requested him recently on my local radio station Downtown Country Northern Ireland, love his version of Soft Rain, what a voice!!!!💪💪💪. Rest in peace. 🙏🙏🙏

Jake taking that bass for a walk. Bobby sawing that fiddle in half, with Loessberg on steel. Man great stuff, from great people, from the best state in the Union for real country music.

I watch Jake's videos quite often. Totally fascinated by his upright bass playing. I was a bass player for many years. Never had the opportunity to try the upright bass.

This cover of this tune is "True Country" because people are enjoying the tune by dancing to it. Concerts rather than dances is why we have the garbage they call country music today. However, it is not country but "southern rock" by entertainers who couldn't hold a candle to this dance music. I really enjoyed your post, so thanks a lot.

Jimbeamman, I was told this place is in San Antoine,Tx. It is great music and just right for dancing. My late hubby and I used to dance every opportunity we had. I hope you live close by so you can take your wife dancing.
