That number is wrong. It is 8 out 10, in only 7 provinces where the Carbon Tax is not managed provincially. Then, only 36% of the people in those province are "eligible" so the real number is: 8 out 10 in 7 of 10 provinces X 36%. 20.1% will see a positive cash flow from this.

Axe the tax. Not just because of the hardship. The climate fear mongering is grossly overstated and should be open to debate. And isn’t the core problem the 8B humans now inhabiting the earth ? And Canada shaving a tiny fraction of Canadas infinitesimal 2% will not matter a snit, not even a rounding error.

First just like his father tax’s on fuel were first on their agenda in conjunction with massive spending. Second this so called PM/fire expert has no idea about forest fires and the reasons it’s a problem. The forests of Canada have been mismanaged for years both with harvesting and fire fighting. This PM has never worked a forest fire, been on the ground to see what is burning thus no idea why or how they burn the way they do. Provinces and territories have done a good job over the past 150+ years of fighting fires and with this fire suppression the dead matter has built a very good fire pit stacked high with fuel and fire is a natural way of Mother Nature to clean this mess up and rejuvenate the forest so Justin maybe stop spreading misinformation and disinformation on a subject you have never experienced and get your pedicure hand dirty.

Cutting 35 cents a litre on gas would really help people, especially commuters. If the average commuter uses 1.5 tanks of 50L per week for the 17 weeks Pierre speaks about. each person would have about 446 dollars in savings...Almost double the "climate incentive" my family received in April.

My husaband and I were getting two hundred in rebate for the both us ...imagine 200....then this rebate they took 40 dollars off my hundred and 40 dollards of my husbands ,so now we get 60 each...yep ,that is good math there Trudy saying we get more back ,still can`t figure out or find out why they took 40 of each of us..We are seniors and he can shove his rebate so far up his you know what ,because we all know how well that is spread open !!

There’s a Form you can download off the government website to have your employer stop taking taxes off your pay, because tax is volunteer only you don’t have to pay tax. If you read the fine, print the government papers have your employer remove the tax off your pay nothing goes to the government so soon run out of money.
