LOVE THIS THING! Must have gear for any airgunner... 🔥🔥🔥

This is the best upgrade to your range kit you can possibly get. ESPECIALLY if you are a competition shooter! Love mine!!!

I have one! How many bullets do I need to fire to get the correct bc? Because the BC of 5 rounds and 10 rounds is different
@FXAirguns2 ай бұрын
@@金雨欣 yes the more rounds you shoot the more accurate the numbers gets as it has more data to calculate it from . Generally I use one at least 10-20 shots sometimes even more to get a better average with a rifle that isn’t perfectly tuned. When I have a super consistent velocity/tuned rifle or load I only do about 5-10 shots

I love your videos quick question i was using it the other day and it picked up my fx impact no bother and my friend tried it with his Air arms s510 and could not get it to read just blinked when he shot but no speed

Is it possible to see the average speed from one shot after diffrent distances as 10m - 20m - 30m etc.... with this True ballistic Chronograph ? Just to calculate how long for example lead or steel is flying before it reach his target .
@richardtatasciore72567 ай бұрын
My phone APP gives me a different reading for velocity then the TRUE chrono ,why
@FXAirguns7 ай бұрын
That should not be the case . Have you made sure your app and chronograph are running the latest updates?
@FXAirguns7 ай бұрын
Would you be able to provide us with a screenshot shot of the app and chronograph? You can mail this to mathias@fxairguns.com

@@recklessjunkie 100% dude! I've said it before and I'll say it again here: no matter what comes out the Panthera will ALWAYS be a viable option for NRL22 / PRS style shooting.

I was really disappointed with the FX radar as a lab radar user. There is no way to see the actual radar data this basically only functions as a ballistic solver when used with the app. BC can definitely be a little complicated if you are not formulator with it. But the way this uses BC is grossly over simplified. atmospheric data is extremely important when calculating BC and using BC data for calculation. Yes you are correct any change in air temp, DA or any other factor will change the out put of a ballistic solution. you can buy a Bluetooth weather meter for around $80 to $100 and use BC the correct way or spend $900 on this and never really learn how BC actually works. This also ignores the actual problems with BC and modern centerfire rounds which is drag models that don't match the bullet being used. This is why Applied Ballistics, Hornady and Lapua have all started making custom drag models of each individual bullet instead of using the G1 and G7 standards. that corrects the drag coefficient as the bullet traverses the Mach range and goes transonic. Even with this improved modeling you still need to know the environmental data for it to work. Ironically this was all learned with the use of radar but the FX radar cant be used in that way like the lab radar can. I had to return my FX radar because there is no way separate what the radar actually measured and what the software is calculating.

My partner bought this to the range and with due respect this not worth 900 bucks. Some of these prices r keeping lots folks away from our hobby. and buy what u can afford they will say I say make it affordable FOR ALL.

Hi , disregarding the price for a moment. Can I ask what disappointed you that much on the true ballistic chronograph ? Did you use it as a stand alone unit or did you have it connected to the app and access to all the features ?
