Great to see all the love for Alex/Eric! LMAO @ "randy swede on the end" It's good to see at least Stephen has a good since of humor about it all. Love Charlaine! So funny! I think you have to look @ the books and show as two separate things. I'm a bookie first and foremost, but Alan has brought so much to the show. i.e. the development of Tara's character, saving Lafy (everyone obviously loves him), and the Eric/Godric relatioship. Genius!

Flexy, I've read the books and they pale in comparison to the show. This is one of those rare instances where taking creative license & changing the storyline has actually improved things. The show is 100x better. I can't wait to see what subtle changes they make in the coming seasons.

True Blood Trumps all the Vamp shows of the past in fan base & Rating. Forever Knight as great as it was & as loyal as the fans are, True Blood will out last it & Nick Knight & Bill are a lot alike which is a plus. Moonlight as much of a Remix it was of Forever Knight & as much people liked it True Blood Kills it cuz its so much more imaginative & Better. True Blood need a Geraint Wyn Davies cameo as a vampire THAT WOULD ROCK!

Everyone's taste in men is different. Obviously, a lot of people think Alex is good looking. He was named the sexiest man in Sweden for like six years or something. He's a good looking guy. In the first season, the wig was horrible but that cannot be blamed on him. This season, he has been amazing. I don't think anyone could play that character better than him.

they're going to start the sookie/eric relationship at the end of season 2. so it's definitely going to happen. they have alot of chemistry on the show too...but eric is alot more subtle than he is in the books.

i like both alot. i like the fact that they didn't kill Lafayette on the show and i think the characters have alot more depth than they do in the books. Tara is not as interesting in the books as she is in the show. the same goes for Sam. And Jessica isn't in the books at all. so I love both.

Well flexy633, without the books, there would be no show, so you're ust going to have to deal. I have read the books, but only after watching season one halfway through. Before I read the books, I was an Eric fan. I love his attitude and sense of humor. Alex brings a lot to his character, and the past several episodes have really allowed him to shine. Bill is just getting kind of boring. There are reasons that even magazine editors bash Bill and are eager to see Eric's development.

Okay, I admit that Alexander Skarsgard is a good looking guy. However, if I had to choose between Eric or Bill......I choose BILL! Sorry to Alex fans everywhere!
