I don't want to sound rude, since I'm only a kid, but True Colors was only covered by Phil Collins. It was written by Billy Steinberg & Tom Kelly and was the only original song on Cyndi's 2nd album release that she did not write herself. In 1998 Phil covered it for his Album "Hits". Hope this helps. Btw I sung the Cyndi version, not the glee version.
