Serena, Kordell, and Jana were treated unfairly for 3 weeks due to the PRODUCERS not bringing in bombshell options that wanted their type. All this Serena hate and now Kordell hate most likely would've never happened. People also complained about Jana being saved during the Andrea elimination but let's be real. No matter how many guys Jana had, NONE of them came in checking for or wanting to date BW. This happens every year (worse on UK version) and every year the BW on these shows are both hated and/or voted off due to no connections or a guy just using them to win the money.

This show has been on for 20+ seasons all over the world - it's very possible. The real tell is that *Kordell* was feeling guilty. Even if he likes Daia more, he said himself what would be disrespectful yet continues to move the goal posts as he gets more attention. Exploring new connections is the name of the game; 1 or 2 kisses could even be overlooked, but when the single (and mostly single) guys are showing more restraint, you know Kordell is doing too much.

I'm always going to extend grace to Serena because she's not out there kissing (outside of challenges) or dry humping any bombshell/casa boy that walks in. One can argue that she's not totally into Kordell (fair) but I don't believe Kordell is deep in love with her either. Realistically, they were both out of options in the villa (pre-Casa). Day 1, Kordell showed interest in Serena (which she's in no way obligated to reciprocate, in the real world you don't just date anyone that says "I like you"), she chose Coye. She paired up with Kordell due to show logistics (Coye picked JaNa). After a few interactions, she told Kordell straigthup that she only saw a friendship potential (gotta give her credit for being honest here)...that's when the "Kordell is a victim, he deserves better" narrative started to take form. I believe Serena eventually felt some kind of pressure and told herself "Ok, let me give that man who seems to like me a chance, because options are running low and I have to at least try". She slowly warmed up to Kordell, even admitted that she's a tough act to follow (I don't believe women need to apologize for being selective/following their instincts when it comes to dating). They talked, got closer, but agreed on being open to explore other options given the chance. Kordell felt betrayed, however, when Serena didn't stay on that dance floor next to him...miscommunication??? They talked it out and made up. Kordell had THE opportunity to tell Serena: "Listen, I don't think it's gonna work between us since you're not feeling me like that." Instead, they both agreed they were still into each other but not closed off. They also agreed on what would be disrespectful to each other while exploring. Serena was on date with Nigel and didn't kiss him. As soon as Kordell stepped foot into Casa, he forwent any sort of self-control (encouraged by the mandem around him). He played himself, that's the story. He's wearing Serena's ring as a reminder of their connection or cause he likes jewelery?

Serena's change of tune also seems to line up with her AfterSun intervirw where Maura mentions that she "nearly broke Kordell's poor heart." I think that was her first clue that she may not be looking "good" to the outside view and decides to invest more in the relationship (hence the "i dont think ive been giving Kordell enough" dressing room talk). 11:02 - Yes, all of this! I've noticed this from Serena for awhile but last night caught myself talking to the screen "miss what?! What _exactly_ do you miss about Kordell?" Even at her last recoupling speech, all we heard (she may have said more, but what was shown) was how much Serena appreciates Kordell letting her go at her pace and being respectful of her wishes. *_Lesson to live by, good people_* : judge a person's intentions/affections based on how they value *you* not just what you do for them. We've heard Kordell mention several things about Serena that he likes, down to noticing and finding cute how she snorts when she laughs hard. That doesn't mean Serena can't feel hurt or embarrassed or etc; her feelings are her feelings.
