Nice video, I love it. How do you estimate the ec2 type needed to handle traffic you estimate? I really need this cpu&RAM power need to handle such traffic category.

Estimating is REALLY hard. Testing it is the way to do it. Write your code, put it on an EC2 and then load test it. You can find out that a m5a.large server can handle handle 20 requests a second and 400 concurrent websockets. Now you have to estimate how many request you're going to get. You can then use that to estimate how big of a server you want (or how many in your cluster) This is all things that you don't have to do with serverless. The closes you get is tuning the Ram per lambda but it's not really the same. I never have to think about how many requests I'm going to get at peak times when I build serverless apps.

I do less API gateway by utilizing the AWS SDK, It's very very cheap

Yes, that's a good option for communicating between services. You still need an API for connecting to a front end app though

@@CompleteCoding I am working the AWS SDK fully on the frontend without API Gateway. The frontend is communicating with the services directly through SDK. But you know, AWS SDK is actually a bundling of service APIs.
