The Red Cross money reminded me of my daughter. We went around to our neighbors selling chocolates to raise money for my daughters school. We have lots of elderly neighbors so about a 1/4 gave us the money and told her she could have the chocolate cos they were diabetic or whatever. We sold all the chocolates and went home. Counting out the money to put in the envelope to take back to school we had about $10 extra. My 8 year old asked what we should do with it. I said ‘well you can give it to the school to help the fundraiser or you can keep it’ my daughter said ‘I’m going to keep it. After all, I’m the one who did all the work.’
