I still really wish they remade it or make some spin-off based on this game. It has so many potential that GTA III didn't have, the casting were good although the story and dialogue kinda wack, and the world is pretty good for that time and I felt like TCNY captures New York more than Liberty City of the GTA III.

I actually did beat this game on the xbox, and I should still have the completed save file on my old xbox, too. I very specifically remember the human traffic level with the boss fight on the cargo container, because I thought it was actually impossible when I got to it, but I did manage to beat it on the second day of me playing it. It was one of those "screw it, I'll try again later" moments where you beat it immediately on the first try in your next session. Always thought it was way too hard, so good to know that it was broken from the start, I guess.

I must have been really lucky, I bought the game for Xbox back in the day and completed it, and I don't remember encountering any major game effecting or game breaking bugs. I actually enjoyed my time with it. I didn't even know how much of a buggy mess it could be.
