At the end of the day this story is devastating. One of the most disturbing parts is she was texting Carrie’s son all those years then he had to find out it wasn’t his mom? 😞 I hope he’s somehow okay, living life… he’s the one I feel bad for in this case and of course Carrie too. He lost his mom 😞 so sad.

She doesn't mention it here, but Carrie's son always knew it wasn't his mother texting him. Quite early on he sent her messages asking questions that only Carrie would be able to answer, and when she couldn't give the answers he knew it wasn't her texting him. He continued to receive messages that whole time knowing it was someone else using his mother's phone and he couldn't do anything about it. If anything, I think that's probably worse.

I love the cute elderly women. There is such the cutest tiny elderly woman in my small hometown. She has an amazing sense of humor too. Everyone in store loved speaking to her. She has a cute presence about her. It radiates off her. She wanting something sweet while standing in line at Dollar General & I’m behind her so I I make a cute comment about her having a sweet tooth and the elderly woman pops off: “Because I’m just full of sassy,spicy & savory sweetness hun.” She had the entire store line laughing uplifting our moods. She has a in home elderly care service set up and the woman working & driving her to shop says the lil lady is her favorite patient. That they have actually become pretty close friends. You can see the bond between those 2 too.
