A rare opportunity to watch the true faces beneath the costumes of lion dancers atop steel poles @ Chinatown. They were rehearsing intricate moves for an all important up coming international lion dance competitions @ Chinatown.

Just imagine how painful it must be to fall down-

extremely painful - the front often get leg and head injury's (saw a video of a competition the front guy feel and hit his head on the ground half his body was on the mats other on the concrete he couldn't perform anymore could barely walk on his own) and the back often get leg and shoulder/arm injury (different video the back guy stepped off the pillars incorrectly and twisted his ankle, and another injured his knee). they can get all kinds of body injuries but i most often see or hear of injury's from the head, shoulders, or knee/ankle

I feel kinda bad for the back guy as he must have good strength overall, and when the front guy farts...Oof!

They Botha re equal trained the back person is usually the stronger one and the front person is supposed use the lion head to give it personalities, but then again I would feel bad for the back guy if the guy farted
