68 people didn't understand the game. I can only congratulate. In Tlou universe, Joel was the worst person ever. I wonder, if you were living there and he killed your mother/father/brother/sister, would you still miss Joel? In Tlou 1, there was some lines, when Joel told Ellie, he was on the other side, and he killed innocent people too. But if this isn't enough for you: later he is just a smuggler, he kills for weapons/food tickets... and at the end he topped it off by taking away Ellie's sovereign decision on the one hand, and the only hope for humanity on the other. I miss Marlene, not that piece of shit. Oh wait.. who killed, the leader of the group whose goal was to restore civilization and give hope to humanity? I hope ND brings Joel back, so that he can at least be tortured a little before being beaten to death. And now remember the scene when Ellie "met" Nora... She practically became Joel. At the very end luckily she changed.

In the world of tlou there is no good and evil. You kill to survive and may people have trauma (like Joel, Ellie and Abby) and maybe can therefore not really choose the right way to go. He does "these things" not out of love, but out of pure selfishness because he had such a deep void inside him because of his daughter's death that he was trying to fill with poor Ellie. If I choose my "foster" daughter over the world: It's also about leaving thousands of children in a world full of infected people by one selfish decision. THAT IS A TRUE LOVE! If you really love someone, you can let her/him go!!! Just think of all the children who will either become prey to the infected or have their parents torn apart because of your selfish decision... Administering the vaccine would not have been a problem. All it would have taken was a courier to a QZ with a working vaccine to test on an infected person and from there, through communication between QZs, the vaccine could have slowly spread. Abby was really going about it the wrong way, acting like a simple soldier. Go here, do this, kill that, because the interests of the COMMUNITY demand it. And Isaac was right too, they did bring a cohesive civilization together there in the stadium at Wolf HQ, which would have been fine if the 2 scars "martyrs" hadn't pulled the match, as there was peace between the 2 groups at one time. But most importantly: Abby changed, she did wonderful and selfless things and she was able to forgive. From the moment she helped Lev and Yara, Abby stepped onto the path that Joel had never been on. Abby is clearly a good person.

I remember reading an interview with Neil Druckmann, where he says that he views Ellie's revenge obsession the same as a drug addiction. Same as an addict, Ellie puts everything else behind so she can feed her addiction. However at the end Ellie manages to overcome her addiction. This just shows that this song is very carefully selected by Naughty Dog, since Bernard Sumner from New Order originally wrote the lyrics about drug addiction caused from a troubled childhood and overcoming that addiction so the protagonist can once more look to the new day with hope. This just follows Ellie's fate 100 %. In the light of that it shows a positive end of the game. Ellie is now "clean". She can try to build a new and "normal" life, as much as it is possible in a decaying world.

Her voice is so beautiful. Even though right now I'm depressed, broken it hurts honestly but I can't stop thinking about my past traumatic life and Ellie and I were the same in a lot of ways. I can relate to her I hope Dina forgives her one day, and especially JJ I just can't accept the ending of the game not only did Ellie not kill Abby but she lost two of her fucken fingers where she couldn't play guitar anymore it's truly depressing. That was her only connection with Joel but she forgives him, and leaves the guitar everything that she knew of him, and hopefully she'll live a happy, peaceful life I hope . SPOILER Despite what anyone else says, TLoU 2 was a masterpiece... maybe they could've done Joel better with him kicking it by saving Ellie or Dina but that's my only problem. Hell I don't even hate Abby, infact I actually like Abby's character despite what she did. But this game was a fucking masterpiece, truly those people who disregard it just cuz of one occasion wherein Abby killed Joel are really... well I understand it but they should REALLY give the game a chance because it's actually great. (ofc this is my opinion don't boonk me)

The whole point of Joel dying was for it to be a miserable death... otherwise the journey would be for nothing. Ellie had to lose herself. And we had to see abbys perspective to see that she regrets it and it made things only worse and she tried to redeem herself where Ellie just lost everything by the end. I feel like one of the main reasons that Ellie went on the revenge is that she felt guilty for not fixing her relationship with Joel before he died...

i won't bash but i have a few reasons to hate #1: with 20 years of experience no way joel and tommy would have given their names to some random strangers #2; why would mel who is 8 months pregnant go on a scout, a pregnant woman that far in can't get out of bed. #3: the ending is really unsatisfying for me!

Frosty 07 I think the ending being unsatisfactory is the entire point of the game actually! If Ellie had killed Abby at the end, she would have been satisfied for a short time, but would have fallen back into the same emptiness that she felt before. This is not a story of Ellie getting revenge on Abby, but about Ellie learning to forgive Joel; and as soon as she does learn to forgive him she is finally able to let Abby go and move on with her own life. While this is “unsatisfying”, killing Abby would have just been pushing the pain that she felt onto Lev. The only way for Ellie to truly erase that pain from the world was to bare the burden of dissatisfaction (and lose a couple fingers).

This game brought on a heart attack when fighting the rat king, I wouldn't mind but it was the 2nd play through lol, I was by myself and I honestly thought I was about to die, I smoked a joint waiting for the ambulance thinking this could be my last, I'm 49 and had to have a triple heart bypass, I don't expect to live much longer as my body is f*cked. Stay away from drugs
