As for the armed part: people who have come here from eastern countries all keep saying "do not give up your weapons!" Christ however has not called us to arms.

@@bo_arrow There is so much to speak about on this subject it'd take a series of books to cover it all. If you can be patient with me I think I can give you a very good idea as to why I'd say such a thing. To begin, I need to say that it's my opinion that we were never intended to miss this. The way the New Testament is put together, someone has gone to a great deal of trouble to mix a lot of evidence associated to this into the mix so I do not blame to bible or feel as though it is not honest. For example, we are told it takes multiple witnesses to determine the truth of a matter. Regarding Paul there is only one single witness to suggest he was authentic. (2nd Peter 3:15) People are required to dismiss dozens and dozens of other scriptures that agree with my point of view to adopt this one scripture. Further, there are many numerous scholars who all agree that 1st and 2nd Peter were not written by the same person. My point is, this information in no way discredits the bible or the gospel Jesus gave his life to share with the world. A good place to begin is in the first chapter of the first book Paul shows up in. Acts 1:21-26 tells us in no uncertain terms that Paul in no way even qualifies to be an apostle. Apostles are required to have walked with Jesus from the beginning of his ministry through the resurrection so that they can serve as a 1st hand witness to these events. Paul clearly does not meet this standard. Beyond that, there can only be 12 apostles. When they replaced Judas, there were only two people who met the criteria and the actual apostles had to cast lots to pick one of them. Finally, in the four places where the names of the apostles are listed, Paul's name never appears once. Even if we were to ignore all of this, we have to take Paul's word about his conversion experience on the road to Damascus. There are several blatant discrepancies in the three versions of this story that are provided. If he was serving as a witness and providing testimony on the stand in any court, he'd be laughed off the stand for lying. Further, because Paul was not an actual apostle, he did not know that Jesus had already told the true apostles that if some clown comes along claiming to have found him out in the desert (like on the road outside of Damascus) that they shouldn't even go to check because it was a lie. This is when he described the second coming as being seen by everyone. To get to the point, Paul was famous for saying that it was okay to lie to an audience if the end result was to win them over. That is an absurd notion and goes directly against God's law and the teachings of Jesus. Paul is the person who is responsible for all of Christendom rejecting God's laws. Nobody else in the scriptures taught this, especially Jesus. Paul also taught us that it's okay to eat meat that was sacrificed to idols so long as your conscience is okay with it. In Revelation 2:2, Jesus congratulated the church in Ephesus for rejecting the false apostle. In Revelation 2:14 he speaks against another church for eating meat that was sacrificed to idols. Paul confesses himself to being run out of the churches in Asia. 1st John 4:2 tells us anyone who confesses that Jesus came in the flesh is of God and anyone who does not is of the anti-Christ. Paul tells us Jesus came in the likeness of the flesh, which by definition is Not the flesh. Paul also spend much of his time arguing with, publicly rebuking and outright mocking the actual apostles who were filled with the Holy Spirit like they were idiots. I don't know specifically what it means to "grieve" the Holy Spirit, but... Another very big one for me is that Jesus taught us that our works mattered a great deal. In Revelation he teaches that works absolutely are counted. Jesus taught us that when we do kind things the least among us, it is as if we had done them for him directly. Paul teaches that the only thing that really matters is what you think or believe. This is an absolutely absurd assertion and is as anti-Christ as it gets. I can literally go on like this all day but wanted to briefly give you something to consider. I will be happy to look up the scriptural references to back up any of the statements I've made here if you would like. If you have further questions, want references to a specific statement I've made or would like clarification, please let me know. I do appreciate your questions. Most people simply respond by telling me I'm gonna burn in Hell. They don't care that I say these things because I actually follow Jesus and can see that that Paul and Jesus are openly teaching two very different gospels.
