It's the mind turned inward. Your doing exactly what you should be. Keep it up, until you eventually realise, there is no "keeping it up".

The mind/ego IS the delusion of responsibility. It's attachments, which the mind must discard, are the result of taking credit as the doer. So basically, what this teaching is saying is, "The ego is responsible for its own delusion of responsibility."

That from which all change stems without being affected, that source imperishable manifests as the knowledge of AM/IS, beyond, between and behind every iota of Maya.

"This concept that our mind has about self-knowledge is a false image of what the true experience of self-knowledge really is. When we actually experience the state of true self-knowledge, we will discover that it is not something that we have newly attained at a particular point in time, but is the one and only real state, which we have always experienced and will always experience, because it exists eternally, beyond the relative dimensions of time - past, present and future. That is, in that state we will clearly know that we have always been only the pure consciousness of being, ‘I am’, and that ignorance - the wrong knowledge ‘I am this body’ - never really existed, just as when we finally see the rope as it really is, we will understand that we were always seeing only that rope, and that the snake we imagined we saw never really existed. Even when we imagine that we do not know our real self and therefore try to attend to ourself in order to know what we really are, we are in fact nothing other than our real self, which always knows itself as it really is. Our seeming ignorance of the true non-dual nature of our real self is only an imagination, and the sole purpose of our effort to know ourself is only to remove this imagination."

Question comes to mind, or maybe there's a misunderstanding; he says the existence of objects/objective knowledge is only due to our mind knowing of them, but isn't it there beforehand? When we discover a new knowledge scientifically, let's say about soil, wasn't it existing before the knowing of it, or else it, the soil or existence wouldn't work? Existence works for ignorant people and animals also, sorry, I seem to be confused around this..
