True Light build to counter the meta! - Master Rank Blue-Eyes True Light Control

The deck's gameplan is to win by using Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which is often summoned by using True Light. I build this deck to better counter the meta of Branded Despia Dragon Link, Mathmech, and Vanquish Soul.

Make sense since the duelist cup has started and ended, a lot of peoples are play stun so having some removers and stun might be a great idea.

damn , Kaiba really came back after sitting in the lab and analyzing the meta ... HE MADE THE WHITE DRAGON GREAT AGAIN PS: Kaiba loved OP traps in the anime , so I think this deck is pretty fitting (and we know he would do anything to win / prove he is the best)

Lol shadow imprisoning mirror, completely forgot about that card. Ya that would be hard counters for quite a few dark decks including vanquisher soul,unchained,lab,Kashtira among others. Very clever

I just tested a similar deck and went from master V to IV in 7 games ... then i siwtched to purrely with jowgen lock and directly ranked down again ( lost one game due to time before last attack with happiness because I was eating) I take it as a sign to never betray the Light dragon ever again

You ever consider second jet? I rage out of my skull when it gets banished by random effects/enemy bystials and it’s consistently the best card in the deck. Maybe over a normal blue eyes?

I would play another Jet if I feel the meta is more forgiving towards brick. Used to play it at 2, with 3 BEWD for guaranteed Bingo search. Dont forget, Jet only protects other cards, and cannot summon itself if you dont have any BEWD, so BEWD feels more important than Jet, since True Light can loop it. And if the meta doesnt actually have many destroy cards (like now, I feel only Vanquish Soul destroys consistently, while the rest like Branded either banishes, sends to GY, bounces to hand, or shuffles to deck), 2 Jets protecting each other (or Jet protection in general) feels obsolete most of the time. Dont forget True Light gives targetting protection to BEWD, making it stronger in the meta of many targetting effects.

Dictator is fine, tho I dont think its super necessary. Chaos MAX+Form can be played, tho it increases bricks.

You don't seem to play Bingo Machine in your combo decks. Why here? And why not at 2 or 3?

Bingo Machine searches by gacha system, aka 3 copies of a card to guarantee search. In combo decks, Bingo doesnt search good BE cards consistently (and only search 1. Melody is better for combo/OTK decks, since it can add 2 copies). Here, I play it as a searcher of either BEWD or True Light. Bingo is hard once per turn, and cant be searched by True Light (for the 2nd time, due to True Light's search restriction), so I only play 1 copy.

I didnt think about it before, but thinking about it, that card seems like a good choice of floodgates. I think it can replace summon limit if needed.

The deck does have a pretty high ceiling of possible endboards, but it is so very inconsistent. Which seems strange considering how many searchers there are, but still true
