You’re sooo right. After years of gaslighting/ lying , neglecting me, taking me for granted and treating me cruelly, my ex asked for a divorce. I had realised, through endless exhausting and pointless arguments, that whenever I became negative, he’d love it and smile … 🤔 Yes, it was like he got some weird kick out of it…That floored me. Then I had a (massive) stroke and he said he realised he could lose me so he wanted to stay married. I was too out of touch to see any red flags, so I agreed. After a while he started going out, partying with his brother again…. and just when I was totally dependent on him and at my lowest ebb. He left. I thought,”never again”. Then he set about turning family, friends and even my kids against me. Thanks for your encouragement. I’ve tried to feel “love and compassion ” towards him but I just can’t, so I’ve given it to Spirit. 🕊

Yep. 💯 dealt with narcissistic abuse, coercive control, emotional and financial abuse. My mum was diagnosed with cancer and that’s when he ghosted me and our 3 kids and cut all financial support. Real charmer. Haha. Then came back crying. I probably took a little too much pleasure on telling him where he could go! 😅

Yes it hurts so much as it was my son. He is now living with my sister who is believing all of his lies and betrayels. It is me against the world. But I know the safety of my other children and myself has to come first no matter how hard it hurts. It's very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel at the moment 💔

I've been having a really hard time trusting. And last night I came to some revelation I kept having this notion towards spirit as if there was no reason to trust. I was raised that trust was earned and it was not given. But then I thought about my children when they were born as babies they automatically and purely trusted me to feed them and take care of them and love them without a reason to trust. Real trust is not earned it is pure something pure like love is already free it doesn't need a reason to be.
