Both Meli and T1U get a big bump at 2/6, though T1U's third life is probably more valuable, outside ult rushing. (Edit: misread Meli, no bump). Both T1U and all the dark Meli's are insane, so worth pulling for. Maybe try to get 1 of each and then pick your favourite to aim for.

I mean, are you comparing him to any character other than T1U? 20 less base attack and CC are still pretty close to the top of the tier. Though his skill effects aren't quite as ridiculously OP as Scorch & Overpowered, +100% and double pierce isn't "bad", though Slash isn't great, I agree (probably because it enables Estarossa).

Nope it's 100% helpful because if enemy escanor has lv3 AoE then it won't wipe the meli even with 2 attacks. And if meli is below 40% before ult then he can lifesteal. Merlin can't debuff him because he can clenge nagato didn't used cards before that's his meli dead against merlin escanor

The main thing that changes is that kid Merlin passive he gets post ult, it goes from 70% (so needs to be hit twice at least to die) to 40% (3 times.) No where near as important as escanors extra lives
