True North | Born That Way | Laura Perry (week 6)

God designed us in His image - man and woman. However, today's culture calls for us to embrace a "born that way" ideology that claims desires and feelings cannot change or be overridden. Like many who feel trapped in the wrong body, Laura Perry was born as a woman, transitioned to being a man, but then found the transgender life wasn’t helping her answer her deep questions about identity. After some powerful encounters with Jesus, she gave her life to Christ, and began a process of transitioning back into being a woman.

Boy I really loved how you kepted sharing the truth in love and even though she said that she hadn’t heard anything different I believe you can see it on her the conviction and I felt bad for her because she didn’t back anything without God’s word. May God keep using you to proclaim truth and conviction in these days.

To compare with food, I still have a lot of thoughts about eating foods/snacks/treats and drinking sweet drinks that would just trash my health fast, and it makes me angry that I can't enjoy them, but I'm also at the same time extremely happy that I learned nutrition truth from free online KZbin videos that prevents me from needing insulin injections and a dozen other rest-of-life prescription meds & surgeries. The mental battle is always there but gets easier knowing the benefits of doing the right thing. God wants us to have less unnecessary suffering in so many ways, and the longest life possible.

The word "pastor" appears nowhere in the Bible, but women are named in the Bible as prophets, deacons (diakonos), evangelists, leaders of worship, and in other roles to serve the church.
