We can't really argue against many of facts and feats orochimaru's done here. Technically he is still growing stronger if we look at what he has done in the past. He probably has DNA samples of just about everyone, even all the new kids in Boruto. He possibly could be immortal....well since Naruto himself stated he looked younger to him since the last time he saw him, he might possibly be already. Think about that. All you have to do is wait people out. No need to fight or do things by force....eventually they will die. All he has to do is collect samples. Plus, if you try him he can put you away in host of different ways with his fighting abilities and several different techniques.....and then still make you an experiment. Remember how casually he killed Garas father. He is actually a pretty scary character. One so scary the writers can't really think of how to kill him.

Lord Orochimaru is my favourite anime character of all time. He's so weird, creepy, enthralling, and has such incredible presence. His theme music was top notch. Gives me chills every time he comes up in Naruto! I'm not sure why people underestimate him so much, probably because they used him as comic relief in a lot of filler and at the end of Shippuden. He got what he wanted and has been laying low since, and it's definitely not because he's scared of Konoha. I think he really did have a change of heart after dying and seeing how Kabuto was destroyed by power(power that Orochimaru literally stole back in seconds). Orochimaru Clearly is the most powerful, wise, and gifted only in comparison to itachi. Comparing the two; one has 1 focus (Itachi) while the other has multiple (Orochi), We haven’t seen his full power and no one pushed his limit of interest to do so, not to mention none of the bodies he processes can handle his true power. He also rather give his foe the upper hand to see how fascinating they can be. ClUtCH Papie I love them two. Orochimaru is my fav old character while Mitsuki is my fav new character. Mitsuki is a great character because he’s really kind and non-threatening (opposite of Orochimaru) but also a super strong prodigy with even more potential to grow as a human/shinobi.

Jiraiya was drugged prior to the fight by tsunade and was mostly in base and tsuande was literally afraid of blood and wanted to take no part into the fight

I'm about 99% positive, despite Sage Kabuto being FAR STRONGER than what people assume, Orochimaru is still superior due to having continued with his training and research, but also having had several amps granted to him during the time he fought in the 4th War.

@@SlayingSin I'm of the same thinking too. Kabuto has been shown all of one time since Shippuden, which is god damn tragic for how big a character he was. The man fought both Sasuke and Itachi too a standstill. It required a genjutsu no one ever heard of just to beat him. He out classed them. Could probably have defeated even Obito. Then bam! Nothing.... Nerfed harder than Gohan. But I'd like to believe he's been keeping in shape and still doing research. He's not an idiot he won't go soft just because there's peace, he knows better than that.

Hold up, so orochimaru is a legendary sanin, knows a thousand Justus, Edo tensie, has a healthy body, hashirama cells, hacked white zetsu, is basically immortal... Just to name a few of the basics and some people out there would argue he isn't one of the strongest in boruto...😂 B*tch please... Z A K the reason he couldn't master sage mode was because his current body was too weak. But now he's completely made up of Hashirama cells and white zetsu's body is honestly no joke. Sage mode definitely isn't off the table especially since his base is stronger than Kabuto.

There's a recent episode where Orochimaru shows up to save the day against someone who's supposed to be Jounin+ level... and the lady just gets deleted. Like... 1/10 of a second *poof*'d. :) So satisfying to see Orochimaru who a sliver how just how strong he is in that moment.

Kano Reese how so? Jiriya fought four tails naruto and nearly died. Orochimaru fought him with a sickness like itatchis and he had the soul of his arms ripped out so he couldn’t use handsigns for ninjutsu and he did better then jiriya

And Jiraiya's wounds were consistent with what happens when flesh touches the 4tails chakra cloak. Orochimaru reminds me of Rock Lee. He wasn't born with any Kekke Genkai but through effort he became one of the strongest characters. Also no girls are attracted to them. I love both of them!

Orochimaru is so smart, he read the uchiha tablet with kabuto without the sharingan, after reading the uchiha tablet he knew about the existence about the otsosuki’s and thats why he spend all his years experimenting the hashirama Cell, as hashirama cell is needed to unlock the rinnegan, thats why he was always after itachi, sasuke and pain, after the war he created mitsuki to be the moon for the sun(boruto), Which might means Mitsuki is also an otsosuki which has the sealing power of the moon. He was always thinking about the future, because he is wants to know everything that exist in the universe.

So, if we assume that Toneri was able to use nature energy with his Tenseigan, then it's possible that his chakra mode was something linked to a Sage Mode. And since we know for sure that Mitsuki's chakra shroud is an actual SM (or Sage Transformation at least), it could at least explain the similarities with Toneri's mode.
