I admire the kid still being able to take care of his younger sister even though, his family went through hell for many years! If any of you are unfortunately in a situation like that, the best thing you could do is to take care of those around you, those you care about the most because despite what's happening, it's good to know you have something and/or someone worth holding/hanging on for! (My brothers biological dad is my stepdad ) as someone who had a cheating stepdad and went through a similar thing his mother really makes me angry cause my mum left my stepdad and she always focused on us and how she can make our lives amazing even though we dont have a dad and i have gone through many awful things such as being stalked but my protected me such as when i was being chased by my stalker and she literally beat him up and she never looked back on her decision of leaving my step dad cause she thought it would be better for us if he wasnt in the picture so the mum in this story infuriated me and i know she was going through stuff but it seemed like she didn't pay attention to either of her kids but i felt proud of her when she finally kicked him out for good

I have experience about this with my mom. Even though my dad wasn't great step father. But he did care much to take care of 3.. but my mom was strong.. and fight many battles.
