I watched your review of the Beagle 01 last year, so, when my wife asked what I wanted for Christmas it was a no brainer I said "A divorce" only joking. I sent my daughter a link to the camera and between them they bought it for me. I had to by the ring light myself from Mintion though. I haven't used it for a while now, the main reason is the lack of a reliable stand for it. I printed some parts to enable connection to a tripod, the problem was I only have one full size tripod I bought a few years ago before a well known retailer (Maplins) went under; like so many others here in the UK. Anyway, I'm considering buying the version 2 for the fact that it can be screwed to tripod that can be used while sitting on a table and not free standing and getting knocked over my clumsy me. Great reviews on all printers I enjoy the easy way you present your reviews, not too techy but with enough info to give you an idea of what is available. I also enjoy the way you share your knowledge and you give some great tips in your shows. Cheers.

I picked up a Beagle in the early days and loved it - until I switched to Klipper 🥴. Still hoping that they provide a Fluid or Mainsail option down the line.

Great video, I was looking for a cam to help me monitor the prints and do timelapse videos. One question. Can I still use the sd in my printer instead of uploading the files? I would mostly want to use the camera for timelapse videos and monitoring. Thanks

Is the beagle 2 heat resistant? I want to buy it but I have to put it in the enclosure for my printer that will probably get very hot inside for a longer print.

Is it possible to set for the time-lapse videos that the extruder will stop somewhere else and not in the center of the image above the model? Also, I tried to use your discount code on the Mintion website but it didn't work. Is the code expired or something? Thanks

So you need a micro usb port or an adapter? What a complete joke, this is 2023. So you buy the camera and can't hook it up until you order an adapter.

What do you mean? Is powered by type c (like most of mobile phone). There's another normal USB port to connect to the printer whatever the cable is.

@@SpaceBond007 What I mean is they clearly advertise it works with my "Ender 3 s1 pro." *It does not* without an extra cable or adapter. That "normal usb" is a micro usb cable, it's older technology and likely cheaper to provide that cable. The bottom line is people without micro usb port should expect to pay more for another cable if they have a USB-c port on their printer and Mintion should be making that clear in their advertisements for the product.
