As a photographer working with Committee for a Free Afghanistan, I walked from Chitral, Pakistan into Takhar Province, Afghanistan in 1991 with two brothers who were working for Ahmad Shah Massoud. I'm happy to say that one of those brothers and his family are now safely in the United States thanks to David's efforts. God bless David and those like him who haven't forgotten our friends and allies.
