True Timber VSX VS Strata in a Camo Showdown with Deer Vision on 16 Backgrounds

Strata breaks up the silhouette better at distance due to the larger blocks of higher contrast, while VSX looks better close up. Strata almost disappears in rocky/alpine while VSX almost disappears in your tree stand background. I own things in both of these patterns. Cool video thanks.

I really like True Timber patterns, the issue is the quality of gear. Most of the Strata stuff is entry level Bass Pro Red Head brand and I have found it's not as tough as I'd hope for Alaskan expeditions. But for the average Buick-to-deerstand Midwesterner, probably good enough

Cabela’s released their instinct line of clothing in vsx and it seems mid tier quality

@@mr.caceres305 funny you mention that, fast forward 2 years, my favorite hunting pants are Cabela's Instinct Grindstones since I can source them locally. I like the pattern a lot, I wish they just toned down the white negative space to a more gray or something. In some lights, they are very bright!!

I believe VSX broke up the human shape the best! I own strata however and it works well if you have the tree directly behind you with the tree bark.

I have strata also, from a distance, I mixed it with sitka subalpine and couldn't tell the difference on a video.

I'm going to start scouting with the Strata in a week or two, and then see if I need to adjust towards my hunt. It's a Thanksgiving Cous Whitetail hunt in the Gila National forest.

I am working on a new set of the Camo Showdown that will take on lighting and different distances. I am also working on real versions of these camo patterns in cooperation with many camo brands but this will take me some time. VSX BLENDS IN THE BEST IN MOST OF THE BACKGROUNDS THE OTHER ONE HAS A WHITE IN COLOR SPOTS THAT GIVES IT AWAY BUT BOTH ARE GREAT IF YOU CAN AFFORD THEM.

Great video for getting a basic idea of how the colors work with the background, I primarily hunt out of a treestand though as do many hunters, which is a completely different background and perspective as well as the powerful glare effect since deer have no UV filters in their eyes. Wondering if you would make videos addressing these issues. Thanks.
