@@ZakTheBack that's the difference. bypass is in the vanilla game but cbf is not. its not allowed on the list and rob unrated a level bc cbf was used. it is not allowed. it being used is cheating. if someone beats a list level using cbf, it's cheating. it's an unfair advantage to have compared to those who beat it without it. doggie's situation is slightly different because he is verifying grief, but he himself said that without cbf, he can't do a single part in grief. that he would have to relearn the whole level and click patterns and that cbf makes everything so much easier. people argue it's free and anyone can get it so it's not cheating. like you can't get other hacks for free. by bass is in the game already. people just want as many mods in the game to make the game easier for no reason. very little people will play at high level. it's not like those who have a 60hz monitor need more than just by pass. plus. itll fuck up the list if it gets added.

anyone calling this cheating needs to realize there isnt a single other video game that punishes people for not playing on vsync or locked fps. take the clone hero community for instance, they play it on as high fps as their computer physically can. they dont call it cheating. they optimize their controllers and softwares. they dont call it cheating. optimizing the way your pc registers inputs isnt cheating in any other game, nor should it be in gd. not everyone has the money for a monitor and fps bypass is anything but the same thing.

It is cheating, but by a technicality. It does allow you to do things that aren't possible in the vanilla game by changing how it registers inputs, and it's something not everyone has access to. That makes it cheating, BUT it makes the game better, should be added by RobTop, and even if he doesn't add it then imo the list should allow it anyway.

@@Akri254 the thing is, it doesnt just make you better at the game. you already have to be at high tier extreme level to REALLY notice a difference. most levels play almost the same. it really only helps with frame perfects or near frame perfects. you still have to learn how to play the game for cbf to even matter. all its doing is raising the skill ceiling so we arent stuck with the same top 1 for the next 2 years.
