If you watched the entire video, it's pretty obvious who killed her and he killed at least one other woman if not multiple other women. I get the feeling most people aren't watching the entire video. With that being said, it also speaks volumes about cops in small town communities (hell, even in larger cities). Not many people are interested in being cops and they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel to hire people but much like occupations like priests, boy scouts leaders, teachers etc attract people who have harmed or want to harm children, the occupation of a police officer attracts people who know they have a past of illegal behavior but want to feel above the law.

I believe that those men threatened Woodward and his family. They were probably loud-mouths and bullies imo. But you don't get to kill bullies and go free. He should have gone through the legal system, and in this case, I believe it would have worked. Also, Woodward was friends with Gary until they had the falling out. Most likely, the beef would have cooled and subsided over time. Instead, now Woodward has robbed the families of their loved ones, and himself of his freedom and family. Don't let resentment and bullying go. Confront it. But do it legally. It's not the Action-Adventure-Movie-of-the-Week solution. But it's the best way in the long run.

Why would they confront him for the murder, let him go, then get the arrest warrant afterwards? They should have just gotten the fingerprint as he was already cooperating, let him go (not letting him know why they're on to him), get the full arrest warrant, and surprise him with the arrest. They also already had DNA evidence on him and I don't think it would've been 100% necessary for them to get the fingerprint to get an arrest warrant. There was absolutely no point in confronting him if he was able to walk away after, as when the police came afterwards with the arrest warrant to his house, he already knew why there were coming and he was caught.
